Roger was unhappy with the original terms of his divorce negotiated by his previous divorce attorney.
After 27 years of marriage, Roger did not feel that his alimony agreement was fair. So, he hired Gary Dolgin to help with his alimony modification.
In addition, Roger needed Gary’s help after his ex-wife took his children out of state.
Roger could not be happier with the alimony modification and child custody assistance he received from Gary. He regrets not having hired Gary initially during his divorce.
In this video, Roger shares his story and highly recommends Gary Dolgin for any of your family law matters.
“Hi, my name’s Roger. I heard about Gary from a friend, and what impressed me was that he was board certified. That meant a lot to me. I had what I would consider fairly complicated situation.
So I actually had already had a divorce. And I can kind of speak to the example of getting the wrong attorney for my divorce. There were mistakes made. And long story short, Gary helped me kind of get back on track during some really kind of crucial times in my life.
So I felt like he’s empathetic and very knowledgeable, detail oriented. So there’s times when you’re going through a difficult situation, which I assume you are in one because you wouldn’t be watching this right now.
But I’m an example of somebody who chose the wrong divorce attorney. And then, you know, Gary helped me. Later in life, I found myself divorced after 27 years. And my situation was, I was paying alimony and my five children.
So my children with a parental plan. My ex took them out of state without my consent and was in violation of the parental plan. So, I needed to win. I was committed to getting my kids around me.
They were teenagers at the time. And Gary assured me when I needed that. You know, that support that he was there, plus he helped me through the court hearings.
And I’m happy to say that we won. So I would consider myself the first round during divorce. The terms that I had were not in my favor, and it ended up costing me a lot more money with alimony that I think if I had consulted Gary early on. I feel like that things would have come out differently.
And it was a good feeling to go through the process with an attorney that gets things done and represented me. So that was my first experience with Gary.
And then after that, the term of my alimony was pretty long, given the length of my first marriage. So he helped me kind of rectify the length of the alimony and shortened it significantly going back through the process.
And I just want to say, I highly recommend Gary. I recommended him to a colleague at my work who has been using Gary through a very complex divorce.
And he’s had similar success stories. So, Gary’s a wonderful man as well as an experienced attorney that I feel like you should strongly consider.”
